DRI has developed and adapted some resources and put them on Wikipedia which had (up till now) no information on drought in this country. As a result two entries “Drought in Canada” and “Drought Research Initiative” have been created and posted on Wikipedia. To access these pages one can navigate your browser to Wikipedia and search from there. The links directly to the pages are:
- Drought in Canada
- Drought Research Initiative
Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit so if anyone has things to add or changes that need to be made to these articles simply click on the “” link on the right of the page or the ‘edit this page’ tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the Wikipedia editor where one can make any changes to the text, links, add figures, add new sections etc… The following links provide comprehensive information on editing:
- An extensive overview on editing
- A brief overview of some of the Wikipedia text functions
- Uploading images onto Wikipedia
You are all invited to be part of this collaborative process which will result in a public long term record of DRI and Drought in Canada.
