The effort is just beginning and systematic activities are being started. These include:
- CEOP Phase II science plan: A section of this science plan has been prepared that focuses on the occurrence, understanding, and inter-connections between extremes occurring around the world during the CEOP time period.
- GEWEX Newsletter: A short write-up of this extremes activity was prepared for the May 2005 issue of the Newsletter.
- Web site: A web site (accessible through drinetwork.ca) has been developed at McGill which summarizes our plans and also lists numerous other web sites that contain information on extremes and hazards.
